CBEEX - INTRODUCTION

The China Beijing Environment Exchange (CBEEX), was established with the approval of the Beijing municipal government, as the first state-level Chinese environmental rights and interests trading platform.

CBEEX has a number of areas of focus:

•  Environmental protection.
•  The transfer of energy-saving technology.
•  Emissions trading.
•  CDM information services.
•  Ecological compensation.

CBEEX and BLUENEXT

In June 2009, BlueNext and CBEEX signed an agreement to set-up an international platform that would provide information on CDM projects available in China. It is hoped that this will promote investment into, and buyers of, CDM projects in China. BlueNext and CBEEX will continue to explore further opportunities to address the global issue of climate change.
